What is Sevelamer Hydrochloride 800mg Capsules used for?

Sevelamer Hydrochloride 800mg Capsules is used to treat high blood phosphate levels in dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease known as end stage renal disease (ESRD). It helps prevent hypocalcemia that occurs as a result of high phosphate levels. This drug belongs to the class of medications called phosphate binders. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Like other medicines, Sevelamer Hydrochloride 800mg Capsules can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Sevelamer Hydrochloride are most likely to be minor and temporary.
